OUR JOURNEY
Serena Vo grew up in a very small town in Vietnam with big dreams. Big American Dreams. Dreams that followed her to the United States and to Indiana University. Of course, growing up as an Asian American, she was encouraged to study medicine. However, once she received her Bachelor of Science Degree, she was off to her passion projects: design and fashion!
During her endeavors in the fashion world, Serena noticed that many US manufacturers refused to produce certain merchandise or declined to work with start-up companies that didn’t have their own retail shops. To fill this need, Serena created SVO Enterprises, a company that focuses on entrepreneurs that have the same big dreams she does. Since the company was built off of trusting relationships and focused on solid principles, SVO Enterprises has had no trouble receiving referrals from existing customers. With our small initial silk screen printing team in the US, we knew we needed to expand to be able to cater to clientele that needed lower prices and higher quantity orders. In 2015, SVO International Ltd. was born.
Along the way, Serena realized that with the expansion of online shopping there was a tremendous opportunity: technology-focused fulfillment services for small and medium sized e-commerce companies. Meanwhile our existing clients overseas are shipping their finished productions, but have no place to store their products once they arrive. To help with their shipping needs, we opened a small warehouse. At that time, we started to look into 3PL fulfillment and noticed that all of the competitors in the space either didn’t have user-friendly technology or could not offer high-quality services that would meet customers’ high expectations. And that’s how SVO 3PL Fulfillment was born.
Moving into 2020, the unfortunate COVID-19 pandemic hit worldwide. However, we were lucky enough to continue our fulfillment services during the shut down. We soon outgrew our 8,000 square foot facility in Vernon, California, and moved to a 15,000 square foot warehouse in El Monte, California.
Now, in 2021, as we are getting back to normal, we are continuing to expand and grow. Our clients and employees are back working together with one goal in mind: to help you worry less and grow more in a faster, smarter and greener way.
